Score Capital Markets Forex Broker History

Score Capital Markets, or ScoreCM, is a young Forex and CFDs broker that is regulated offshore. Offshore regulators are not as strict as reputable regulators such as the FCA and others. The broker is also very young, established in 2024, giving it scarce experience in the FX brokerage industry. Experience is crucial in FX trading as time is the best tester for scams and fraud. The broker seems competitive with its specs. However, there is no negative balance protection offered, meaning traders might go into minuses. This is especially true as the broker offers up to 1:1000 leverage.
When it comes to safety and security, the broker is overseen by the Financial Services Unit of the Commonwealth of Dominica and the Autonomous Island of Mwali (Mohéli). Both of these regulations can be considered offshore and are not very strict with brokers, making enough room for scams and fraud.
Score Capital Markets Broker Review of Accounts
The broker offers three different types of trading accounts: standard, pro, and elite. The standard trading account is for general trading, while other accounts have lower spreads. Standard also has 0 USD spreads, while the other two accounts have commissions for low spreads.
Score Capital Markets Standard account
The standard account is for general FX trading and offers commissionless trading. The spreads start from 1 pip, and the minimum deposit is just 10 dollars. The standard account has the following spreads:
- Forex pairs – from 1.0 pips, Average spread from 1.2 pips
- Metals – from 20 cents, Average spread 25 cents
- Cryptos – from 25 USD, Average spread from 30 USD
There is no swap-free option for this trading account.
Score Capital Markets Pro account
The pro trading account by ScoreCM and the minimum deposit starts at 100 USD.
- Forex pairs – from 0.2 pips, Average spread from 0.5 pips
- Metals – from 15 cents (Average spread from 20 cents)
- Cryptos – from 20 USD (Average spread from 25 USD)
The pro trading account charges commissions for these low spreads of 3.5 USD per side per lot, meaning the total commission for opening and closing trades with 1 lot is 7 USD, which is pretty standard in the Forex industry. The account has similar conditions as the previous account when it comes to margin call and stop out levels (100% and 30%). This trading account charges swaps.
Score Capital Markets Elite account
The Elite account is for experienced traders who can deposit at least 1000 dollars and offers even lower spreads. These spreads are slightly lower and start at 0.1 pips. The commission is also the same 7 USD round turn (3.5 USD per lot traded per side). The broker has the following spreads on popular assets:
- Forex pairs – From 0.1 pips
- Metals – from 15 cents (Average spread from 20 cents)
- Cryptos – from 20 USD (Average spread from 25 USD)
The Elite account charges commissions for metals as well, and with 15-cent spreads, it is very expensive to speculate on gold when using scalping methods. The account charges swaps.
Score Capital Markets instruments
The broker allows traders to access diverse markets such as FX pairs, commodities, indices, and crypto pairs. There are major FX pairs, exotics, and minors offered. There are metals and energies offered, but as we have seen, the spreads are not low, and the broker also charges commissions on low spread accounts, which makes it completely unattractive for scalpers to trade Gold with Score Capital Markets. From cryptos, traders can access popular ones like BTC, ETH, and more altocoins as well.
Score Capital Markets Reviews of Trading Platforms
The broker offers access to the advanced trading platform, MetaTrader 5 (MT5). The platform is very capable and supports both custom indicators and Expert Advisors (EAs). The broker allows EAs, which is useful. Mobile trading is available via the MT5 mobile app, allowing traders to trade on the go. There are no other trading platforms offered, which is a downside as MT4 is more popular among FX traders.
Score Capital Markets Forex Review of Extra Features
There are three promotions available at the Score Capital Markets right now: deposit bonus, trade bonus, and refer-a-friend program. The refer a friend program gives traders bonuses and rewards for inviting their friends to the platform.
ScoreCM trade bonus
ScoreCM trade bonus requires traders a minimum of 50 dollars deposit to get activated. This bonus is only for new customers, which is a downside as existing clients can not use it. The profits made using this bonus are withdrawable, but the bonus itself can not be withdrawn. The one downside of this bonus is that it is removed from the account when traders withdraw profits (equivalent of withdrawn profit in percentage).
ScoreCM deposit bonus
The deposit bonus is similar to the trade bonus. This bonus is also for new clients. The bonus percentage depends on the amount of deposit money. If a trader deposits 10 dollars, they get a 100% bonus. From 100 USD, the bonus is readied to 30%. Profits are withdrawable, but the bonus is removed after withdrawal.
Overall, the broker offers similar bonuses, and there is very little difference between these promotions.
Score Capital Markets Reviews of Customer Support
Customer support is critical in FX trading as traders might want to resolve issues very fast. ScoreCM offers live chat, email, and phone support channels. The website and support are offered in two languages, which is a downside.
Overall, the broker provides diverse support options, which is important and useful in FX trading.
Score Capital Markets Deposit and Withdrawal
The broker accepts many payment options and promises quick withdrawals and deposits. Traders can use cryptos and online wallets, which is advantageous. The withdrawals take around 1-3 business days to get processed, which is a bit lengthy.
Score Capital Markets Review Conclusion
Score Capital Markets offers many benefits when it comes to advanced platforms and minimum deposit requirements. However, the broker has very high commissions and spreads on metals and other assets, except for Forex major pairs. The broker is also regulated offshore, which raises concerns about its legitimacy and reliability.
